More Than 60 Years of Innovation, Built Around People
Every company has a beginning. Ours began with a family, a workshop, and a belief that engineering could improve patient care.
In 1965, brothers Horst and Heinrich PAJUNK founded the company in Geisingen, Germany with a vision to solve real clinical challenges through innovative engineering. What began as a family business has grown into a global medical technology company serving healthcare professionals in more than 100 countries. Today, PAJUNK remains proudly family-owned and is guided by the second and third generations of the PAJUNK family, carrying forward the same values of curiosity, craftsmanship, integrity, and a commitment to improving lives.
Some companies are built around products. PAJUNK was built around people.
By working closely with physicians, educators, and clinical experts, we create solutions that address real-world challenges—not theoretical ones. Every innovation begins with a simple question: How can we make this procedure better? Better visibility. Better control. Better workflow. Better patient outcomes.
Today, more than 700 employees worldwide continue that mission from manufacturing facilities in Germany and the United States, supported by subsidiaries and distribution partners across the globe. Our independence allows us to invest in long-term innovation, build meaningful clinical partnerships, and remain focused on helping healthcare professionals provide the highest standard of patient care.
Recognition as one of Germany's TOP100 Innovators reflects a philosophy that has guided us since 1965: when German engineering excellence meets close collaboration with clinicians, meaningful innovation follows.
As healthcare continues to evolve, so will we. By embracing new technologies, investing in research, and staying connected to the clinicians we serve, PAJUNK is helping shape the future of procedural medicine—one innovation, one partnership, and one patient at a time.
Because for us, medical technology has never been just about devices.
It's about helping healthcare professionals deliver their very best care while honoring the vision that began with one family's determination to make a difference.
